Riken Yamamoto (born in 1945) is without doubt one of Japan's most interesting architects and his buildings are of international significance. The architectural critic, Wilhelm Klauser, is an expert on Japanese and Asian architecture. Thanks to his extensive knowledge and critical analysis, the scope of this monograph is far-reaching.
